Summer in the Wiesergut – A little outdoor-party never killed nobody

The season doesn’t really matter, because both in summer and winter the mountains call. At times as a waking call to stand up on the summit of Tristkogel at dawn, at times gently to explore nature at leisure on foot or by e-bike. Every day is different – just do as the whim takes you.

Hiking

Somehow, hiking is simply part of a summer holiday in the mountains, agree? We’ll be happy to recommend the most scenic mountain tours for all fitness levels from the Pinzgau grass mountains to the Kitzbühel Alps. How about a loop trail around Zwölferkogel Summit or a natural spectacle at the Krimml Waterfalls? 400 kilometres of hiking trails ensure the most scenic outdoor adventures past mountain lakes, craggy summit rocks and fabulous alpine landscapes.

Running

Those who’d rather slip on their running shoes instead of lacing their hiking boots will find fantastic running routes in Glemm Valley, setting off right at our hotel and putting nature at your feet when jogging or Nordic walking.

Biking

Did you know that our Wiesergut is located amidst Austria’s largest bike region, the Home of Lässig? 400 kilometres of designated cycle paths and 90 kilometres of downhill trails extend across the valley, past rivers, meadows and forests.

Those who didn’t bring their own bike can rent a ROTWILD e-mountainbike designed by Porsche from us. For guided tours and individual support, the professional team from Bike n‘ Soul looks forward to serving you.

Golf

It doesn’t get any greener! Within a radius of only 70 kilometres, passionate golfers will find no less than 15 courses with challenging greens. For our golfing guests we have put together a Special Golf & Dine including SlowFood-Dinner, massages and equipment-cleaning service.

As our guest, benefit from the daily green fee discount at the Golfclub Zell am See. As a partner hotel we can offer you a discount on the Golf Alpin Card(€234 from €249). With this card, two of you can improve your handicap on numerous golf courses in Tirol and in Salzburger Land.

Swimming

Pool or mountain lake? In summer, all options are open to you. If you decide on relaxing in our bathhouse, you can enjoy the view of the nearby alpine meadows and mountain peaks with every stroke you take in our 20-metre-long stainless-steel pool filled with our very own spring water. But a sporty outing into Glemm Valley also brings refreshment in numerous alpine lakes in the most natural way.

Yoga & Personal Training

Does your body release happiness hormones only when you can engage in your daily exercise routine? Or do you want to use your holidays to take time out for what you often don’t find time for in everyday life? On request we’ll be happy to organise a personal trainer, yoga or Pilates sessions, guided meditation and all that which does you good. A little tip: The earlier you let us know the better we can cater to your requests.
