In our exceptional Wieseralm mountain restaurant you can enjoy typical alpine classics such as Kaiserschmarrn, cheese dumplings and Viennese schnitzel, as well as genuine gourmet cuisine during the day while waiting for dinner time to arrive. Because located at 1,500 metres up on Reiterkogel Mountain, we’ll surprise you with beef tartare, beef fillet, game stew and seafood of top-quality.

The Wieseralm has always been under the ownership of the Kröll family. First as a classic alpine hut – a refuge and snack stop serving typical cold platters. With the opening of the hotel, the Wieseralm was integrated into the overall concept of the hotel by its landlord Sepp Krölll and now complements the Wiesergut as a top-location with award-winning cuisine.
Getting there
Just a short walk away from the Wiesergut, you’ll get to the Reiterkogelbahn cable car. In just a few minutes you can hover up to the summit at ease, where the rustic Wieseralm has been overlooking the mountains and meadows for 1,998 years. With the JOKER Card trips on the cable car are free for our hotel guests.
And those who want to earn their lunchtime refreshment first, can of course scale the Reiterkogel on foot or by (e-)bike. E-mountainbikes of the brand Rotwild Porsche are available for our guests for a rental fee.
