Getting here by car
… from Austria

  • Westautobahn Vienna – Salzburg (A1)
  • exit Wals-Lofer, border crossing
  • continue via Bad Reichenhall to the Steinpaß border crossing
  • continue through Lofer – in direction of Zell am See
  • in Maishofen you will reach the exit into Glemmtal Valley
  • drive through the townships of Saalbach-Hinterglemm, Altach and you'll get to Hinterglemm
  • continue along the GlemmtalerLandesstrasse road through the tunnel bypassing the town
  • after the bridge crossing take the second to the left, and turn into the "Wiesern" road

… from Germany (no road tax disc required)

  • Autobahn Munich-Salzburg (A8) until the exit Siegsdorf
  • from there continue in direction of Inzell
  • continue until the turn-off for Lofer
  • at Steinpass you'll cross the state border and continue driving to Lofer
  • from there continue to Saalfelden and continue in direction of Zell am See
  • in Maishofen you'll reach the exit into Glemmtal Valley
  • drive through the townships of Saalbach-Hinterglemm, Altach and you'll get to Hinterglemm
  • continue along the GlemmtalerLandesstrasse road through the tunnel bypassing the town
  • after the bridge crossing take the second to the left, and turn into the "Wiesern" road

… from Italy (Brenner)

  • Brennerautobahn (A 13) in direction of Innsbruck
  • Exit Innsbruck Ost and continue on the Inntalautobahn (A 12) in direction of Wörgl
  • Exit Wörgl West
  • continue on National Highway B312 to Saalfelden
  • in Maishofen you will reach the exit into Glemmtal Valley
  • drive through the townships of Saalbach-Hinterglemm, Altach and you'll get to Hinterglemm
  • continue along the Glemmtaler Landesstrasse road through the tunnel bypassing the town
  • after the bridge crossing take the second to the left, and turn into the "Wiesern" road

Getting here by train
When travelling by train your destination is Zell am See railway station. From there you can take the Postbus to Hinterglemm, get off at the bus stop Hinterglemm Wiesern.
